Meet the Commissioner

Hi! I’m Kari, the Commissioner of Rinkville.

I’m a hockey mom to three incredible kids, wife to an amazing husband, lifelong organizer, creator, and the kind of person who packs for a tournament like we’re preparing for a month-long expedition. Ok, full disclosure, 2 of my kids play hockey (a 17yo daughter and a 9yo son). My 12yo son is starting a journey with football, so I will be a football mom too, but a hockey mom is a whole life style!

If you’ve ever forgotten tape, a phone charger, snacks, medicine, or an extra pair of socks… chances are I’ve got one in my hockey bag.

Like so many hockey families, my life revolves around practices, tournaments, laundry that somehow smells like hockey gear no matter how many times it’s gets washed, and calendars that look more like game plans than schedules.

Somewhere between early morning rink arrivals and late-night drives home, I realized something.

Hockey families have a language all their own. We share the same chaos, the same victories, the same frustrations, and the same unforgettable memories. Yet there wasn’t one place that truly celebrated everything that comes with this crazy, wonderful life.

So I built Rinkville.

Rinkville is part community, part resource hub, part pro shop, and part love letter to hockey families everywhere. My goal is to create products that make life easier, stories that make you laugh because they’re painfully relatable, planners that actually help, and a place where every hockey parent feels like they belong.
